She blossoms

Is the shy song in the silence

A bird in a cage?

Or a moon lily

Trudging through the mud,

Beckoned by the lunar light

In the dark of night?

Piercing through the glassy veil

Between the depths and the skies

She is kissed by the silken moonshine

After emerging from the underworld.

She blossoms

Drinking of the milky nectars

That reward her trust in the unknown,

Welcoming her home.

She opens, unfurls,

Revealing her tender heart

To the glistening dark.

Stretching out

Upon the soft mirror of the skies

What was once a heavy weight

Has become a cradle under the stars.
